Guido Forti dies

Guido Forti, founder of the Forti Grand Prix team, has died aged 72. The Forti cars were in F1 in 1995 and 1996. They were bright yellow with green wheels , sponsored by Parmalat and driven by Moreno and Diniz. The team collapsed during the 1996 season after a deal with the mysterious and short lived Shannon Racing.

Apparently the last team to use a H-pattern gearbox and considered by many to be the final privateer team.
